- Limestone Pre-processing: Limestone is fed into a jaw stone crusher, hammer stone crusher or cone stone crusher to be crushed to a size suitable for calcination to ensure uniformity of subsequent calcination.
- Calcination: An important step before hydrated lime manufacturers plant make slaked lime is to extract the quicklime by calcination. The decomposition of limestone occurs to produce calcium oxide (CaO) and carbon dioxide (CO₂), the calcium oxide being quicklime.

- Screening: The digested hydrated lime is usually in powder form, but the granularity is not uniform, so it is necessary to grade the hydrated lime through equipment such as vibrating screen machine to ensure that the granularity is in accordance with the standard required by the customer.
- Drying: Digested hydrated lime may still contain water, which needs to be dried by a specialized dryer. The moisture content of the dried hydrated lime is controlled below 1.5%.
