Lime Production Line Process
- Raw Material Pretreatment: Freshly mined limestone is usually not uniform in size, limestone is crushed to suitable particle size for calcination using a limestone crusher. Firstly, the primary crushing of limestone uses a jaw stone crusher. Then, secondary crushing of limestone uses a cone stone crusher and impact crusher. Screening of crushed limestone through the circular vibrating screen or linear vibrating screen ensures uniform particle size.
- Calcination: Calcination is usually carried out in a lime rotary kiln or vertical lime kiln—calcination temperature up to 900℃-1000℃. The calcium carbonate in limestone decomposes into quicklime and carbon dioxide at high temperatures. Finished lime in bulk and bagged, you can also use automated packaging equipment to efficiently dispense lime, then reduce labor costs.
