Single Shaft Kiln Plant
The single shaft kiln is a modern, efficient vertical lime kiln with a simple and robust design. Compared with other types of kilns, this kiln is more convenient to build and has a simple installation process, making it suitable for lime production line of different sizes and needs. The single shaft kiln requires a smaller initial investment and can be put into production quickly and efficiently, with significant economic benefits. The kiln adopts “reliability, economy and practicality” as its design concept and fully considers the current trend of industrial technology development. After more than 20 years of continuous research and improvement, the single-shaft lime kiln technology has matured, and the supporting non-standard equipment can also be tailored to the specific needs of customers. Combined with the automatic control system, single shaft kiln not only achieves high-efficiency energy saving but also meets strict standards in terms of automated production and environmental emissions, making it an ideal choice for many lime production companies.
Advantages of Single Shaft Kiln
Compact and Efficient
The single shaft kiln adopts a vertical design, occupies a small area, has a simple structure, and is easy to integrate into existing production lines. Its simple structure not only reduces the demand for infrastructure and materials but also lowers initial investment and construction costs.
Low Investment, High Return
Compared with other types of kilns (such as limestone rotary kiln), single shaft kiln has lower initial investment and faster payback after operation, making it more economical. Therefore, it is a very cost-effective investment for small and medium-sized enterprises.
High Energy Efficiency
The single shaft kiln optimizes energy usage during preheating, calcining, and cooling. Through the integrated automatic control system, the kiln can efficiently adjust the energy consumption of each link to ensure the maximum utilization of thermal energy, thereby reducing fuel consumption and operating costs. In addition, there is less heat loss from the kiln, making the entire calcination process more efficient.
Strong Environmental Performance
The single shaft kiln was designed with environmental protection in mind and can use low-emission fuels, producing low carbon dioxide emissions during the calcination process. The kiln is also equipped with an air pollution control system to ensure compliance with strict environmental emission standards.
Single Vertical Shaft Kiln Process
1. Feeding: Raw materials such as limestone and raw coal are fed into the kiln top through the feeding system. The materials are evenly distributed in the kiln through the distributor to ensure the uniformity of material flow.
2. Preheating: The material moves from top to bottom in the kiln and first enters the preheating zone. In this area, the material is preheated by the rising flue gas, and the temperature gradually increases until it approaches the pre-decomposition temperature.
3. Calcination: Materials enter the calcination area and undergo chemical reactions under high temperatures. Limestone decomposes into quicklime and releases carbon dioxide. This area provides heat through combustion to ensure the high-temperature requirements of the calcination process.
4. Cooling: The high-temperature lime from the calcining zone enters the cooling zone and exchanges heat with the incoming cold air. The cooled lime particles lower their temperature, and the cooling air is heated and enters the calcining zone to participate in the combustion process.
5. Packaging and Discharging: The calcined lime is discharged through the discharging system, and the lime with different particle sizes is separated and packaged for subsequent use or transportation.
