vertical lime kiln

AGICO’s vertical shaft lime kiln has a simple and reasonable structure, small footprint, low investment, and low energy consumption, and is suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises.

About the Vertical Lime Kiln

The vertical lime kiln is also called shaft lime kiln and vertical shaft lime kiln. The kiln body of the vertical lime kiln is vertical. It is a calcination process equipment with a long history and mature technology. The raw materials are mainly limestone or dolomite, etc. The raw materials enter the kiln from the top. As the temperature rises, chemical reactions occur, and the final products are discharged from the bottom of the vertical lime kiln. It can complete the comprehensive mechanized feeding, calcining, crushing, and discharging operations. There are many choices of fuels to provide high temperatures, and coal or coke are the most commonly used ones, among which coal has low cost and high calorific value. AGICO’s vertical lime kiln has high product quality and productivity, occupies a small area, and requires low investment, so it is widely used in small cement and lime plants. Vertical lime kilns are also widely used in metallurgy, building materials, food, and other industries. AGICO’s vertical lime kiln, designed and produced with new technology, has the advantages of environmental protection, energy saving, and a high degree of automation.

annular shaft kiln

The annular shaft kiln is a new type of sleeve kiln equipment designed and manufactured based on the Beckenbach annular shaft kiln (BASK). It is divided into two kiln bodies, the inner and outer kiln bodies. From top to bottom, the kiln body is divided into a preheating zone, a countercurrent calcining zone, a downstream calcining zone, and a cooling zone. In the feeding zone, an automatic control system distributes the ratio of limestone and fuel. Then it enters the preheating zone and is heated to 800-900°C. 70-80% of the calcination process is carried out in the countercurrent calcination zone, and 20-30% of the calcination process is carried out in the downstream calcination zone. The ring design ensures uniform heat distribution, making the lime calcination more uniform and sufficient. In the cooling zone, the hot lime exchanges heat with the cold air extracted from the bottom of the kiln and is discharged from the kiln body after the temperature is reduced, with a temperature of about 80-130°C.

double shaft lime kiln

The double shaft lime kiln is a new type of double-chamber pfr lime kiln developed based on technological innovations such as the Maerz kiln and parallel flow regenerative kiln (PFRK). It consists of two kiln chambers, which are connected, and alternate combustion is used to ensure uniform heat distribution and sufficient calcination of lime. Raw materials and fuel enter the kiln through an automatic system and are evenly distributed in the two kiln bodies. In the preheating zone, the limestone is heated to 800-900°C. Then the fuel in the two kiln bodies in the calcining zone is burned alternately, when one kiln body is a heat storage chamber, the other kiln body is a combustion chamber, thus realizing heat recycling.

double beam lime kilns

Double beam lime kilns are also called double beam active lime kiln. They have low energy consumption, high lime activity, low cost, strong fuel adaptability, and high-quality lime calcined. The kiln body of double beam lime kilns is generally rectangular or circular, with two layers of burner beams and an exhaust gas suction beam on the kiln body, dividing the kiln body into five areas. The storage belt of double beam lime kilns can store an appropriate amount of limestone to ensure normal operation during maintenance. The burner beam is the core part of the kiln. There is a calcination zone between the upper and lower burner beams. The limestone is calcined evenly at this stage and then enters the post-calcination zone for homogenization and finishing. Cooling air enters from the kiln tail and cools the limestone to about 75℃ before it leaves the kiln.
