Highly Efficient Rotary Kiln for Agglomerated Flux Production Solution
AGICO offer highly efficient rotary kiln for an agglomerated flux production solution. Specifically designed for the continuous, large-scale production of agglomerated flux. Thanks to advanced rotary kiln technology, the material is heated more evenly, and the finished product offers higher strength and more consistent quality. And AGICO’s rotary kiln uses waste heat recovery technology, it can effectively reduce energy costs. AGICO will help you increase production output by 15%–20% and maintain a product pass rate of over 98%.
Whether the customer chooses a rotary kiln for agglomerated flux or an agglomerated welding flux production line. AGICO can provide customized designs based on the customer’s raw materials, production capacity, and investment budget.
Raw Materials and Finished Products
Raw materials for producing agglomerated flux include:
Manganese Ore Powder
Quartz Sand
Fluorspar
Rutile
Limestone
Dolomite
Feldspar
Water Glass Binder

Why Use a Rotary Kiln for Agglomerated Flux Production
360° Heating
The rotary kiln rotates continuously during operation. The material is constantly tumbling to ensure that each particle is calcined evenly at 360°. This avoids overheating or underheating.
24/7 Continuous Production
Rotary kiln enable 24-hour continuous production. Combined with automatic feeding and unloading systems. This improves production efficiency and reduces labor costs. To meet the needs of large-scale production.
Stable Product Quality
The rotary kiln uses an intelligent temperature control system. It can precisely control the temperature inside the kiln and the material residence time. Therefore, the quality of each batch of finished products is consistent.
Energy Conservation
Rotary kiln uses refractory lining and waste heat recovery system. Reduce energy consumption and fuel costs by repurposing high-temperature exhaust gas. Achieve green production.
Agglomerated Flux Manufacturing Process
1. Preparing ingredients: the raw material is precisely measured according to the recipe, and feed into the mixing equipment. Thorough mixing ensures the quality and stability of the agglomerated flux.
2. Granulation: The well-mixed powder is fed into the granulator, and add an appropriate amount of binder. The granulator rotates continuously, and the powder forms wet granules. You can control particle size by adjusting the speed and water volume.
3. Drying: The wet granules obtained after granulation contain moisture. It needs to enter the drying system for drying treatment. Prevent cracking and pulverization during high-temperature sintering.
4. Rotary kiln sintering: Sintering is the most important step in the production process. The dried granules enter the rotary kiln. The kiln body tilts and rotates continuously, and the material moves slowly toward the kiln head. Passes through the preheating zone (300°C–600°C) followed by the high-temperature sintering zone (750°C–1050°C).
5. Cooling: The sintered particles are at a high temperature and need to be cooled down to below 80°C. we usually uses rotary cooler. Rapid cooling helps maintain the stability of the particle structure.
6. Screening: The cooled material is classified using a vibrating screen. Agglomerated flux that meets the standards enters the finished product silo. Agglomerated flux not meeting the standards is reprocessed.
7. Package: Agglomerated flux that passes testing enters the packaging system. Customers can choose the packaging method. Common examples include jumbo bag packing machines.
